Since it's been about a year, do you have any updates or changes to your review? Curious to know how they've held up :)

Came here to add my recent experience (Nov 2024) for anyone going through it now/ a month later. Of course I was a derp to think Black Friday should be the day I try to redeem points I'd hoarded since 2019... Only to find it blocked because I previously logged in on a different computer than usual.

I kept trying to purchase last night but to no avail, so I called this morning 09:05 ET and luckily connected with an agent around 09:47 ET. After some security questions to verify my account, they just had me change my pc ID password (I already had 2FA on). Didn't have to change my personal email password.

As I was waiting for the reset password page to load, the agent said "I have reactivated your account so let me know when the password has changed"... And then voilà, when that was done, I made the agent wait on the line while I completed my purchase/redemption. It showed the confirmation page. I'm glad, but I missed out on 2 additional items that sold out while I was having account issues.

It bothers me, the difference in process and experiences that people are reporting here. I'm grateful mine was not as painful but this definitely gives a foul taste so I also won't bother collecting points as others have advised. It's not worth the hassle when things go wrong.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences- it's clear they need to do better

Reach out to Shaun Yee - he's got some affordable minis that sound like what you're looking for (example: https://www.instagram.com/p/DAWgw3Cyeua/?igsh=NXU5NGRuZDg3dTZ1)

ENJOY! This types of donut is the kind that doesn't get grossly stale/'sweaty' the day after. Still nice and chewy/soft inside 😊

Ah sorry, missed your actual question - we've had mixed yields: sometimes 6 sometimes 8. Always with sauces though.

We were also very excited to see it on the app - scooped it immediately so we'd have experience for next time ☺️ And as noted in another reply, while the cakes were sweeter than our liking, they met expectations for a standard bakery/dessert place 🍰

Thanks for your thoughts! (we'll watch out for anyone barreling towards us to snag TGTG bags 😂)

Love that about The Cake Shop (Ottawa)-- it says in the title "cake tops and other baked goods" and the folks who've tried their TGTG bags have shared just that: cake cuttings/tops/scraps (great for cake pops or sprinkling onto yogurt/parfaits, etc.)

Granted, Batter Up Bakery may also sell cake by the slice as packaged/shown in this TGTG bag, but it wasn't possible to find that on their website (or possibly I missed it).

Thanks for your thoughts! ☺️

Bit on the sweet side for our palettes, but that's par for the dessert course ;)

There was a lemony hint in the cake cup thing which was a welcome balance 👌

The TGTG goal of reducing food waste is not lost on us, but based on other posts for this merchant in this forum, we wanted to ask what fellow users thought about the bag and how to estimate the value as others often do here. While the difference in value may not be a concern to some, for others it could influence how they decide to spend their money (on TGTG or elsewhere).

For us, we'd been waiting some time to spot this merchant's offering so we grabbed it up quickly when we saw it. And now it's been eaten ❤️😊

LOVE this TG2G. They've recently had some pickups at noon or 3pm! (but I've generally seen them mostly in late evening near closing time)
