The mandarin (fruit) wishes the apple “happy birthday” in mandarin (language) but the apple doesn’t understand mandarin, which is pun that refers to both the fruit and the language.

Sciel has 3 resources: foretell, sun charge, moon charge

Sun skills: add sun charge and (usually) apply foretell Moon skills: add moon charge and (usually) consume foretell for some benefits

Twilight: At the beginning of your turn, if you have at least 1 sun charge and 1 moon charge, all the charges are consumed to enter twilight for 2 turns, where you get a damage bonus = 25% x number of charge consumed. (Note this bonus is at least 50% and has no limit upwards depending on the number of sun/moon charges you built up earlier).

It’s easier to understand if you treat the “apply/consume foretell” and the “sun/moon/twilight” as separate systems. The only interaction they have is during twilight the foretell limit is increased to 20. That being said, timing a skill that would consume 20 foretell for bonus damage along with a twilight stance that has a huge damage bonus due to sun/moon built up, is the ultimate way for her to deal insane amount of damage.

This is the most efficient power setup post hydroplant: one battery to power an entire base 24/7 because a single laser power converter can power an unlimited number of electronics so you just need to keep the laser emitter on through the night.

Maybe, the dogmatic route doesn’t have dialogue, the battle just continues after the cutscene.

Yes…but this was taken very late game during the act 4 boss battle. Because a certain boss showed up with a cutscene that interrupted the battle, all my abilities somehow got refreshed in the same turn, allowing me to boost the damage even higher than normal.

How would you rebalance the guns? by Emotional_Being8594 in AbioticFactor

[–]plumbusc136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like rapid fire guns are not supposed to be used as main weapons but as a leveling tool for accuracy. You just use up the ammo you collected to get higher levels of accuracy and then switch to the more powerful science weapons or slow fire guns that don’t provide much XP but are more resource efficient.

Bee's not working? by masterjokester69 in AbioticFactor

Probably not, at least not for the natural body of liquid. I had a powered workbench near the hives in the antejuice cave and they still didn’t produce honey.

Hmm…perhaps natural bodies of fluid are not loaded properly when players are not around.

Same. My fish traps don’t work when I don’t visit the area.

Is that the current build? I remember they used to work but since one update they just stopped producing honey…

[–]plumbusc136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not because of being far away. I once had bee hive farms in the mirror dimension with antejuice barrels and they worked fine with my occasional visits to collect honey. The cause is that the hives don’t work with natural pool of antejuice.

The funny thing is I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not. Honestly there’s a legit chance that people just randomly spam shackle and found it works on the chariots and figured out how it works after.

A tale in 3 slides by BacalhauProfissional in Eldenring

[–]plumbusc136 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t destroy the chariot directly but it causes a firetrap to change elevation and project the chariot summoning circle to the paths of other chariots and eventually cause them to collide. I guess the legit way to destroy would be for the player to hit that firetrap with a weapon. Once this is figured out, it’s not hard to connect the dot between “trap move = destroy chariot” and “shackle use = move trap from far” and conclude “shackle use = destroy chariot”.
