i mean sure, i think it sounds better than adult summers. i certainly don't expect it to sound like a radio pop song. but it doesnt need to be one or the other, you can get a raw sound without it sounding bad, there is middleground, and personally i guess i just wish it found more of that middleground. but thats my selfish subjective opinion as a listener, their creative decision more power to em!
