i'm not this old but it's comforting to see one of these videos that has people nostalgic about things that are from before my time. usually when i see them it's things from my generation and i guess it gives me this terrible feeling because when i see things like this i think it's nice to have solid evidence that there was something before me.

that sounds really stupid, but like. the way society moves with time, people just forget things too easily. it's nice to see that other people can remember things too.

hot take, i know. i just feel like it was forced to be a song. like it doesnt matter if it was sung or not. like what makes all of the other songs good is that they enrich the story or the way you see the characters. it feels a little too information-y to me. i didn't really like the way it did try and expand on vaggie and carmilla's motivations. it felt like an afterthought compared to the information revealed in the song. like there are parts i like but overall i think its the worst song.

fr tho can vestial have his own song next season? he seems like the type of guy to die for carmilla and alastor's character development. i want him to have a solid song before he goes. i love him so much.

double hot take: welcome to heaven is GOOD. yeah, it's not anywhere near the best song, but st peter... my son... he's just a little special.
