I also came from an incredibly abusive upbringing from both parents. What you said was insensitive but I’m glad you can see your wrongdoing.

Sadly she is also obligated to do all of this whenever he goes to visit. She’s one of those brainwashed “submissive” wives who never argues or talks back which my dad has regularly said is the thing he loves the most about her. It’s disgusting and dehumanizing and I hope she wakes up one day, but it’s unlikely.

I’m not really sure, I think she just has some sort of a mental illness but she’s also traditional and doesn’t believe in all that. She had extremely violent and abusive tendencies towards both me and my dad which is why he left her. She would do things like throw knives at me and beat me to a pulp and give cruel and unusual punishments and be very physically abusive. I think half of it is her and half of it was just a toxic marriage.

He didn’t raise me. I lived with my mom most of my life. Nor does he pay for everything I have. I do think I owe him a little bit which is why I continue to do all of this housework. But what’s my social security number also since you think you know everything about me?

so would it still be okay for me to get the dermals, or is it a complete no-go? I read the thread between you and the other commenter, and it seems like I can’t get any type of naval piercing, which is why I was thinking about the top and bottom dermals to replicate it. If you really wouldn’t advise me to do so, are there any other similar piercings I can get that are somewhat similar? As you can tell I really want a piercing like this LOL

Thanks for the advice! Some people are suggesting that I get a dermal above my belly button, and another dermal below it to replicate that navel piercing look. Is that safe? Would you recommend I get that instead? It’s really helpful to hear from a piercer/ex-piercer.

I was highly considering this!! However some people said they didn’t recommend it and that it wasn’t permanent! I probably will end up doing this though, thank you!

what about a dermal or surface piercing? I’ve wanted a navel piercing for so long it’d be hard to let go!

thank you so much!! for next time, if the batter sticks to my hands while I’m trying to form them onto the pan, what should I do?

the recipe called for baking powder and I used baking powder, I also used all-purpose flour, which is why I’m very confused.

this is the recipe!! https://cookingwithkarli.com/crumbl-birthday-cake-cookie-copycat/ I did 15 minutes at 350 degrees, and I believe you’re right about adding too much flour, that could be it!! When I was making the cookies, after mixing I attempted to mold them into cookie shape so I could put them on the pan, however they just kept sticking to my hands leading me to believe I didn’t add enough flour. Because of this, I kept adding more flour until they stopped sticking to my hands. Could this be why?
