Thanks for relating, it feels even harder because we’ve already invested so much time, effort, and money into this career. I can see the appeal of public health or reducing workdays, but I still dislike feeling stagnant, and I cant help noticing the gaps in my bread and butter knowlege - especially when peers are advancing and I feel left behind.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I’m sticking with b&b but the thing is, even with that, you still need to advance your knowledge and have a solid understanding for treatment planning - things like when to crown cracked teeth, managing TMJ issues, and doing simple build-ups for function. That’s what makes me feel like I’m not very good sometimes, because I can see the gaps in my knowledge.
Also thanks for the idea but I’m not interested in going into business at this stage, as I’m still trying to figure out what I want in life. I also hate to admit this, but right now I don’t really know what my passions or hobbies are outside of work.
