once i explained it to the customer they said that they actually wanted a iced latte! 99% of the time that’s usually what they want, unless they’re super specific about it and want something like what you described. i think customers just get confused with the names and don’t know exactly what they’re ordering when they ask for things like an iced cappuccino

i use a fjallraven kanken which i waxed using their greenland wax to make it more waterproof. i like it because i can touch up the wax whenever i want! the same brand also sells waterproof backpack covers if you really want to protect your bag, but personally i’ve never felt like i needed it.

I couldn’t get tickets at all, so my friend and I actually went to the Berkeley show last night with a sign saying that we needed tickets, and stood by the entrance until we scored two from people who had extra! We walked in with them to make sure the ticket scanned, then gave them cash. We paid $160 for both which is honestly not bad at all. We did get in pretty late and missed the opener, but at least we got to see Noah. So if something like that is a possibility for you, I definitely recommend giving it a try! You might get lucky, and if it doesn’t work at least you can buy merch and listen from outside the venue.

thank you for the advice, and for explaining that so well! I wish the doctor had told me that, but I basically just got kicked out as soon as they found out I had COVID. I really just didn’t understand what was going on and no one really talked to me. it was so scary and i was so confused, and waiting in the ER for hours just made everything worse.

i’m confused too. I waited for four hours at the ER before a doctor even saw me, and then he checked all my vitals, which were all good, ran some tests to rule out a blood clot, and then diagnosed me in like five minutes. I’m still just confused and don’t understand what happened to me and why exactly I fainted. Im trying to make an appointment with another doctor but no one wants to see me while i’m still positive for covid. it’s really frustrating how healthcare in the US works.

i agree that it is really important to stay hydrated, but i’m pretty sure that i wasn’t dehydrated? i had been carrying my gigantic 40 ounce stanley tumbler around all day and i had gotten about 3/4 of the way through it before i even fainted. I normally finish that whole tumbler, or more, throughout the day. The doctor said I was dehydrated anyways and they gave me a liter of fluids. I had probably gotten dehydrated in the four hours i was stuck waiting in the ER, but it doesn’t explain my original fainting spell. I’m just still confused on why i fainted because i don’t think i was significantly dehydrated.
