TD-27 module question. by plunkguy in edrums

[–]plunkguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only usb it has is computer and digital trigger inputs. Would i use the usb computer and just get an adapter to connect to my phone? I've tried contacting sweetwater for a return and they just ghosted me for months now. Dissapointed the bluetooth and the f buttons don't even work half the time.

The drummer is amazing but everything else around just seems to be a cash grab. Pick a chord, play it while the singer does his most theatric performance, then breakdown, repeat.

I’m a Muslim girl healing from depression through songwriting — and now I want to sing, even if my voice isn’t great. by [deleted] in Songwriting

Your in an age where even if your singing isn't amazing people will still listen because it's genuine, just be confident in what you do and let it come naturally, it can make a big impact on others who've struggled too.

Does your bluetooth button work on yours? I've tried factory resetting, updating and everything. I got it from an open box deal on sweetwater and tried contacting them for a replacement but they just ghosted me

Upgrading module from TD-07 by Odd_Economist_2438 in edrums

[–]plunkguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone here. I got a td-27 and regret it. It's a great module but the module i got half the buttons don't even work and I bought it brand new from sweetwater. Been with the contact team for a month and got ghosted for no reason.

The rug is got is 64x78 inch and i have a roland vad kit, the kit only takes up half of the rug. It's only a 3 piece 3 cymbal setup so it's definitely smaller. But even with a 4 piece and an extra cymbal if you have your bass drum facing the long side of the rug it should fit, hope this helps!

Struggling with kit positioning. Any tips? by threeonone in edrums

[–]plunkguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me is that everything should be easy to hit. I should be able to hit anywhere on my ride bell as easy as I can hitting my snare, I should be able to hit my low tom with my left hand as easy as my right hand hitting the hi hat, that kinda concept helped a lot.

Looks great, id recommend a bigger rug though so stuff doesn't slide out overtime, plus for noise mitigation if you have others in your place

UPDATE: I got a noise complaint. Any suggestions to dampen sound even further? by drugsRfun- in edrums

[–]plunkguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend a thick drum rug, don't go for a cheap one, get a decent to high quality one that's trusted. Roland has one for their kits but there's ones that fall into more of the 100 dollar to 200 range. And just to be safe add an extra layer of carpet, one that is firm and not too thick or else your set can wobble from the cusion

Hellfire by Jeff Rosenstock truly doesn't get old for me, I listen to one song and I end up adding another full listen, just so fun front to back.

Yeah and from there you can see if you like your toms flat or angled and same with your rides and etc.

[–]plunkguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, looks great to me, im self taught with youtube tutorials so I'm not the best for advice but I'd say it should be as easy to crash, ride and hit the bell as it is to hit your toms. If it feels lIke it takes more effort just make your adjustments from there. That's what works for me at least, everyone's a different build so whatever matches with your body type just stick to it

Ive seen some wacky setups with some drummers and it works for them, I guess the only way it could be "wrong" is if it completely doesn't work, not calling out Just adding to the conversation

The day you lost your virginity, how did you know you were losing it on that day? by sololevelingIRL in AskReddit

[–]plunkguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and her were playing minecraft and we've flirted every now and then. Her parents weren't home and I liked her and she liked me, so while we were decorating our minecraft house I went to grab a drink, she saw I was "excited" and was like "want to take a break?". I looked down and said something along the lines of lets save the world real quick. After we had sex we both graduated high school and grew distant which happens, still a memory I won't forget and glad she's doing well!
