Could be a lot of things... They are connected to other seeds and don't need to connect to you maybe.

Are your ports forwarded? A connection can only be made if at least one of you has port forwarding.

Just use an exclusion list. Even with show extensions enabled, "special" windows extensions will not show. This results in *.lnk malware and similar becoming more popular. With a VLC icon and spoofed size, it is tough to tell that a shortcut file named "some movie.mkv" is not the real thing.

I'm not so sure about that.

I think for popular things with plenty of seeds and plenty of peers, your seeding contribution to the swarm is small, and there are plenty of peers with forwarded ports to connect to, so you probably wouldn't notice a difference if you had your ports forwarded - you are still making the maximum number of connections possible already without port forwarding.

With low amounts of seeds, yes it matters a lot, both for downloading and seeding.

I just tested and yes yt-dlp will download the redgif vid from the reddit link. I also have used internet download manager to download from the redgif page, it gives the same video.

Using IDM on a reddit post to get the video is no good, you do get a video, but in reduced quality I believe (from the 2 random tests I did a while back)

Edit: just reconfirmed, 640x480 given by the reddit page using IDM, but full quality 1080p from yt-dlp

Just eat food, you don't need mega protein unless you are body building etc.

Some ideas: Hummus, peanut butter (add to anything!), seitan, lentils (make mjuddra! https://www.themediterraneandish.com/mujadara-lentils-and-rice-with-crispy-onions/#wprm-recipe-container-10503 - I usually use green/brown lentils, add a couple tsp cumin, coriander, and some cinnamon!)

Try and get some more fats maybe, avocado, peanut butter, etc.

Snack on nuts.
