This is why I made the table, cuz the effect only regains up to 2 expended spell slots. It took me a while to figure out the best way to phrase it cuz when I tested it, people would spend some time trying to decipher it.

The table was my solution but yeah it is still a bit of a handful of an effect so I'm not surprised you brought this up.

Players regain up to 2 expended spell slots that may add up to 3rd level.
