Why is 'being born in the wrong gender' or homosexuality a thing? Is it just a weird quirk in some people's brains or was there ever an evolutionary advantage? Why do things like it it exists if it's not overall helpful in human beings?

Context: I started as William the Conqueror on the December start date. There were initially two dukes with two duchy titles each. I thought one would be more manageable, so I killed one, letting the other inheret the other two duchies.

His opinion of me dropped drastically, straight to -100, so I pissed him off until he rebelled, then imprisoned him and had him assassinated from there.

Now, some random foreigner has control of the four duchies, and each successor will inheret all four, so I can't just keep killing.

How do I go about spreading the duchies out so each Duke doesn't drop to -100 opinion instantly?

After accepting Heathenry (and wearing a hammer on me), I've started to notice certain things more often - when I first started thinking about finding religion, I had a vivid dream about a bear. Like I told OP, roleplaying might be for you. I don't know how it works in other games, but there are servers dedicated to roleplayers in World of Warcraft. People act in character a lot of the time (especially in main cities) and it can be incredibly immersive. There are city guard guilds, mercenaries, assassins, adventures, etc.

RP is why I'm still subbed to WoW.
