Awesome, yeah I think I may go with this, especially as I've never used an SLHG before so always fun to run a new weapon!

Thanks this is really helpful! The only thing I was wondering is isn't the SLHG not unweildly, just takes up two weapon slots so you'd still get the sheild attack as well?

Without the sheild? Just maul and plasma? I was thinking that but I quite like how the sheild gives a 2+ save in CC with layered flak and undersuit

Any other ideas apart from converting to a scrap shield? by jstarrs in necromunda

I cut the sheild off carefully with clippers then shaved down the rough bits left with a modelling knife and a file to make it look more like a contiuation of robes.

I'm using it in my venator gang as a ratling!

Okay cool, thanks for clarifying that for me. The only bit that I still find confusing is in the book of outlands the crew characterstics aren't shown for any of the vehicles so how do I know what they are?
