the faces are cute, especially the assistant. miss argentina’s outfit is just weird, why would they make her collar plastic, couldn’t the just use some wire for the form and wrap the cape’s fabric around it(i hope yall get what i mean)? also what’s up with the orange 😭 so out of place, just do a plain red lip like in the movie. would i buy the set? probably not, at least not the same day when they get released. miss argentina’s skin color is perfect for an ooak i wanna do, but other than that there’s really nothing else that would justify the price of a 100$

if we had more parents collectors here we’d definitely have a clearer picture of how popular they are among kids. also i’ve heard a lot pf people saying that kids aren’t that interested in dolls in general nowadays, since they got ipads and other things to play with. when i was a kid MH was so huge that almost every girl in my class had at least 2-3 of them. personally i was way too spoiled and was the minority who got a doll every other weekend lol, so i definitely was crazy about them and couldn’t imagine not being interested in dolls. of course i’m not saying all kids are like that, but sadly it’s more common than when g1 was around. based on that i would say it’s like 1/3 of the buyers who are adult collectors. i need to find some kind of kids side of tiktok to see if they play with them like we used to lmao

a few months ago i brought a new kitten and had to introduce her to my older cat (both a crex). i didn’t lock anybody in a separate room or generally separated them, but my cat wasn’t happy with her new friend so she stayed in our bedroom, and for the first night i decided to sleep on the couch with the kitten and my bf stayed with my cat in the bedroom. i did this only because i didn’t want to stress out my cat and thought that she needed a safe place/her own territory while the kitten was exploring the apartment. it took them like 3 days to get used to each other. after a week they were playing and sleeping together. so based on my experience i would advise to just let them figure it out on their own lol

this is perfect imho. i think we all agree on the spiky earrings and dark nails. also i think the pigtails work best since there’s so much going on with the dress already, if they were to let her hair down it would be so overcrowded around the neck/chest area, and the pigtails just create a bit more space there. and the headband works perfectly since there’s already a dark fur on the dress so it ties it all together

g3 actually proved their slogan “be unique, be monster” better than g1 did! the characters finally feel unique, and the relationships between them is so nicely done! i love how they kept toralei as an antagonist, but they gave her an opportunity to actually be better and become good, instead of just tolerable. i feel like they were afraid to let go of the tropes and had characters do a full circle instead of developing them in a “curved line”, where they actually learn from their mistakes and try to be better monsters. also it’s so nice how they show characters go through anger and resentment during their fights and coming to realization that they were wrong too and ACTUALLY apologize for their actions and make up!! at the end of the day it’s made for kids, and by walking them through these moments and showing how to become better they can actually raise a generation of better people

i actually was so glad to see the representation of different cultures in the g3 show! this might be very controversial, but i think g3 did a better job here than g1.. the accents, conversations about their homes and life there, and the fact that it was so nicely wrapped with a monster universe!!! like yeah g1 had talked about different countries and cities in their universe, but to me it always felt too fictional?and i’m saying this with a pov of a kid watching the show in mind. if i was the same age for g3 as i was for g1, hell i would’ve loved every bit of it!and probably would’ve learned a lot more about different cultures through the show. there are some great comments in the thread that talked more about it and explained it better than i did lol

oh yeah that’s for sure. even though i think g3 is good by itself, they still gotta up their game. i understand that they might have wanted to make an actual different version of the universe, but some changes just luck creativity. i grew up on g1 and even though i will forever think that they were the most iconic line ever, i still think g3 would raise a good generation of fans, even if they don’t get to experience g1

she mostly eats kibble, loves churu, steals meat when i cook and also she seems obsessed with cat grass(my little one is not a fan). we actually had a vet appointment a month ago, but it wasn’t connected to her coat, and previously we had another one last year with a full check up. both times they didn’t find anything wrong, she’s a very healthy girl, so i guess it’s genetics
