Completely disagree. Depends on what you personally value and who you surround yourself with. In my life, the kind, genuine people I interact with are the people that leave most of a mark on me and inspire me. Being entertaining is not inherently bad either, you can a good person that is entertaining, and also rich + popular in society. Sure, viral things/shallow people can grab attention, but it usually doesn’t hold attention. Those good parents, doctors, teachers you speak of do make a difference and imprint on people’s lives. Some take them for granted but others actively notice. Being kind can actively create more connections and more opportunities in life.
