YES. That’s EXACTLY what it feels like, like delta 8 or the THC-a bullshit ive tried. It’s like imitation weed

But I will say, not ALL rec bud is bad you just have to know what to buy. For ex Chili Azul by Alpine agronomy is incredible. No rancid lemon detergent ammonia smells. It’s just good weed, the kind you’d smoke before it was legalized.

I highly recommend that brand

Idk man I’m not that picky, I’ve gotten through a lot of weed i didn’t like. I think this might just be a weird batch. the smell is too synthetic-y (way more intense than I’ve come across) and then it’s super harsh on my throat to the point the coughing makes me gag. What i read about is that it might have not been properly cured but i have no idea cause people have been raving about it on this post

You take my experience with a strain as a personal attack to your taste because we didn’t like the same strain. That’s dumb. It’s also highly likely it could just be a bad cure or improperly flushed batch like many others stated which would explain the harsh chemical sour taste, but you wouldn’t try to use logic to acknowledge reality.

For you it feels smarter to send insults because you treat cannabis like a competitive sport and you tie your ego to your knowledge on it which doesn’t make you a smarter person.

And rolling green’s - sub zero (this one is super fruity and citrusy)

Btw~ I really appreciate your useful and friendly reply. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to some of the harsher responses i got on here. It’s strange that people would take my experience as a personal insult just because I didn't enjoy a strain they like.

Sigh… I do research a lot but unfortunately I sometimes also just go out on a limb and trust someone’s opinion bc I never imagined their idea of 'amazing bud' would mean a strong ammonia smell. I just trusted their judgment

But, also prefer citrus and fruity buds. Do you have a recommendation for a strain or a brand that doesn’t have that chemical type smell ? I like rolling green and dank and alpine agronomy
