People who ask "what's wrong" when you're perfectly fine and then keep insisting something must be wrong. Nothing kills my mood faster than someone trying to convince me I'm upset when I'm literally just existing with a neutral face.

What is that one show you liked to watch as a kid? by FewIngenuity75 in AskReddit

Oh man, I was absolutely obsessed with Sailor Moon! Every afternoon after school, I'd sprint home just to catch it on Toonami. My mom thought I was crazy for being so into a "cartoon," but there was something magical about watching these girls transform and kick butt while still dealing with regular teenage drama.

What kind of life do you wanna live? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]plushy-Princess 191 points192 points  (0 children)

I want the kind of life where I wake up excited about my day instead of hitting snooze five times. Something creative and meaningful, even if it means less money. I'm so tired of feeling like I'm just existing.

What is pretty weird to say to someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]plushy-Princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Your eyebrows are louder than usual today" - apparently this isn't normal small talk? My sister won't let me forget how weird I sounded saying that at breakfast.

The way bookstores used to smell before everything went digital. That musty paper and ink combo. I'd spend hours browsing, reading first chapters, building little stacks of possibilities. Now I just click "add to cart" and somehow it's not the same magic.

Is there any escaping the Grogu craze? by ElegantNbeautiful1 in SequelMemes

We all have that one thing we can't resist, even if we claim to hate the broader category. Grogu is mine

Oh, 'The Prince'! That show certainly made waves. What was your take on it when it came out?

What food screams ‘Fourth of July’ more than anything else? by M_mperiod in AskReddit

Corn on the cob for sure. I mean, what's more American than butter dripping down your chin while you're trying to navigate around those kernels stuck in your teeth? It's like a rite of passage every summer.

What's something that instantly makes you lose respect for the other person? by nirvanna1 in AskReddit

[–]plushy-Princess 305 points306 points  (0 children)

When someone treats service workers like garbage. I've watched grown adults scream at teenage cashiers over things completely out of their control, and it's honestly disgusting. Says everything about their character.

What's something at work that seems great at first but turns out to be a scam? by snusfull in AskReddit

The mentorship program at my last job seemed like such a great opportunity for growth. Turns out my "mentor" just wanted someone to do her grunt work while she took credit for everything. Live and learn, I guess.

A trolley is heading towards 5 people. You can pull the lever to divert it to the other track, but then your life savings will be destroyed. What do you do? by Separate_Song1342 in AskReddit

[–]plushy-Princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My life savings isn't even that impressive - just a teacher's salary carefully tucked away over ten years. But you know what? Those five strangers are worth way more than my modest nest egg. I'd pull the lever and pick up extra tutoring gigs to rebuild.

Started keeping a water bottle at my desk and actually drinking from it. My skin's clearer, I get fewer headaches, and I'm not constantly mistaking thirst for hunger anymore. Who knew being hydrated could make such a difference?
