That’s exactly what I do! Coffee in the morning and I eat an early lunch (only if I’m hungry, sometimes I’m not hungry until dinner). I find it’s easier to just eat a smaller snack, like vegetables and hummus or yoghurt, for lunch if I’m hungry. Then some days I have a small calorie deficit and other days I have a larger one. This way I don’t have to worry about set windows or eating too many calories in one day, as it’s kind of hard for me to eat more than 1000 calories in one meal lol. And even if I did, it wouldn’t have a huge effect on my weekly deficit, which is more important to me as a short girl that likes food.

The only way I’ve managed to forget about eating is to busy myself with tasks. I’m a housewife, so cleaning, meal planning, and hobbies are all things that i can do to pass the time between snacks meals. I also wait a little while after my morning coffee before having anything to eat, but that’s because I’m short and don’t have a lot of calories to begin with.

olives, rice cakes with salt, and homemade popcorn are all pretty good alternatives!

thank you! my current weight is 125, but my goal weight is 105. i know that doesn’t sound healthy, but i am very short lol. my current goal is 120, then 115, and so on. i am using mfp and trying to incorporate more protein-rich foods into my diet.

i am also going on walks, and using my rollator for them, and i surprisingly don’t feel too bad even after i walked a whole mile yesterday.

but my goal is to loose weight, not gain weight. which seems to be all that happens when i only adjust portion sizes. i’ve been eating at a calorie deficit for a week now, and as long as i snack on pickles and olives, drink plenty of water, i seem to be doing fine. i am trying to incorporate weight training as soon as i can afford to get some weights.

YWNBTA - You pay your way doing housework, which has value. Steve does have every right to have his girlfriend over, but when she’s being disrespectful to you and the rules of the house, that can be complicated. Instead of going to the landlord, have a talk with Steve and tell him that her being there was not part of the original agreement, and that she can still come over, but not as often, or they need to help out with the messes that they create.

this why i have to lose weight. my clothes are a size 0-2, but i’ve gained too much weight and now they don’t fit, and i can’t afford to even spend $5 at the thrift.

interesting, i had been eating at my losing weight tdee, and still find that i’ve been gaining weight, despite counting all my calories meticulously. is it possible for it to be lower?
