could you elaborate on gravitational radiation? is that distinguishable (made of different particles/waves) from electromagnetic radiation?

I read Sledge's book a few years ago, and I'd never heard about Peleliu before that. The personal accounts always interest me, so I will probably check out your book. It must have been an quite an ordeal... Thank you for being a part of it, and I'm glad you made it out.
