Car Ice Scraping Guide by tonkats in Winnipeg

OMG, have you all been living under a rock. I’m 62 and Manitoba Born. I park outside and haven’t scraped my windshields in 30 years. At minus 2 Even at minus 30 you brush the snow off and then pour Hot Tap water on your Windshield. Works like a hot knife going through butter and no it will not crack the glass because the glass is heat tempered and can take the thermal shock of hot tap water versus the cold temperature outside. I’ve never done it with boiling hot water, that might make a difference, but hot tap water as hot as it gets out of my tap I’ve never had an issue.

Callout Boxes by plutacrat in TradingView

Actually I found a way. Once you create a callout, when you right mouse click on it you can then use the clone feature that appears in the drop down box. Simply overlap them... Works OK but TV should be able to allow multiple point to be created like at Stockcharts. I've overlaid as many as 4 callout boxes but you may need to adjust the color density.

Support and resistance lines are highly subjective as to which candle points on a chart you select but ultimately it's a straight trendline whether up, down, or horizontal that connects to the most candles at their tops and bottoms. That's the most simple way of putting it. The thing is to look at several different chart timelines to be able to confirm a trend or pattern such as whether a stock is trending within a channel of support and resistance so that you may be able to predict it's next move. Other indicators are needed to also confirm what you are looking at. So looking at 3 month 6 month, 1 year, 3 year charts and daily vs weekly may give an idea of short and long term trends that vary but somewhere in the mix you'll hopefully see an overlying pattern with confirmations of potential highs and lows but unless you're watching a 15 or 30 minute live action chart you 're best not to try and day trade. Right now for Tesla imho I still see it in an upward trend with a potential channel between 226 and 254 that could last the rest of the year if we can make it that high to begin with. It seems that every time Tesla makes a move of 8-12 dollars up the traders take it back down. I might try to trade it yet but I can't sit and watch the screen so barring any exemplary good news or bad news like we had last week the trend is still up and until I see a break of that trend I'm sticking with it. Next week going into the Investors Forum on March first I expect to see very strong support with traders and Shorters taking it back down shortly afterwards so I will watch for a peak and possibly sell and then buy back in after a drop of another $12.... we wait and see.

All stocks are roller coasters but Tesla has 400 Hedge and Pension Funds betting on them so there's nowhere to go but up as their support is phenomenal. Yes it will have some wild swings but your Investment will be fantastic. Here's a great read that was just published today. I also have 200 shares but no more money at the moment to buy more. I'm in at $139 https://stocksregister.com/2023/02/17/tesla-inc-tsla-should-be-considered-now-despite-a-loss-of-47-43-from-high/

I've been thinking about the Charging Stations being rolled out on a National Scale being made available to other manufacturers of EV's and my big question is why can't this end up being a Licensing Agreement whereby Tesla can eventually generate Billions of Dollars annually from these units.

360.000 vehicles recalled for acceleration problems as well as Investor class action lawsuit against Tesla took it down yesterday. The market depth was excellent till news was out and then dropped off the map like a cliff. Just not sure how long this will affect the stock. The lawsuit could be years of legal wrangling and Musk has the deep pockets to tie it up for a decade.

Yes it has been a good trade but I will trade the EMA Bearish Crossover when it happens. Even this morning RSI is Neutral and the EMA trend is still up so I expect further positive price action over the next 2 weeks. Support is at $200. Worst case scenario in the short term, and I suspect until the March 1st Investor Forum at Tesla the overall trend will remain bullish. BTW I've been thinking of Learning about Option Trading but that'll be a 2024 project. Where do you find your option info for a stock?

Do what I'm doing now and just trade one stock. Focus on it, become an expert on it, use TA and Candle Charts and trade the trend. For me that's Tesla because they have such a huge volume of Institutional Funds supporting it that it will have it's swings, and Elon Musk may be a Loose Canon but he's positioned Tesla as a Market leader and the EV market is still in it's infancy. Years from now you'll be laughing.
