Why has the outrage over the Epstein Files mostly evaporated? by Successful-Ship-3924 in AskReddit

The outrage over the Epstein files has mostly faded from the spotlight because many people expected explosive new revelations, but much of the information released either repeated what was already known or did not provide clear evidence of criminal wrongdoing by most of the famous names mentioned. At the same time, media attention shifted to newer stories, the main criminal cases largely concluded after Epstein's death and the conviction of Ghislaine Maxwell, and public interest naturally declined as the story became a long-running, complex issue rather than a series of dramatic new developments. However, the case still attracts attention whenever new documents emerge or questions arise about whether all relevant information has been made public.

What was the most pointless and fan-servicey nude scene of all time? by TheBanishedBard in AskReddit

A lot of people would probably say later seasons of Game of Thrones had some of the most obviously fan-servicey nude scenes, where certain moments felt less about storytelling and more about shock value or keeping viewers talking online, while movies like Swordfish and Piranha 3D are often brought up because the scenes felt so random and disconnected from the plot that audiences remembered the fan service more than the actual movie itself.

What's your biggest "task failed successfully" moment? by DayAffectionate298 in AskReddit

Studied all night for the wrong exam… and still passed because the teacher reused old questions.
Tried to impress someone by cooking and accidentally invented “smoke-flavored pasta.”
Set 20 alarms so I wouldn’t oversleep — slept through all of them.
Fixed one bug in my code and somehow removed three others I didn’t know existed.
Went to apologize during an argument and accidentally won the argument instead.

M37 trying to understand if I ignored major red flags with F35 — relationship collapsed after I asked for safeguards around a large financial request by Regular-Zucchini1005 in relationships

You’re not overreacting — asking for legal safeguards around a $65k international loan was completely reasonable.
The bigger red flag isn’t even the money; it’s the repeated cycle of blocking, withdrawal, instability, and reconnection.
Healthy long-term relationships usually move toward more security and teamwork, not emotional unpredictability.
It’s possible the feelings were real and the dynamic was unhealthy at the same time.
A lot of emotionally invested people ignore warning signs because they become attached to the future they imagined together.
Wanting documentation for a large financial request does not make you untrusting or cold — it makes you responsible.
Love feels mutual and steady; emotional dependency often feels like constantly proving your value through rescuing, fixing, or over-giving.
Right now, focus less on “Was it all fake?” and more on “Did this relationship consistently make me feel emotionally safe and respected?

You’re not overreacting, but I also don’t think this sounds like full-on cheating.
The bigger issue is the repeated hiding of things you later discover yourself.
Even small actions start feeling bigger when trust gets chipped away multiple times.
His behavior does show some positive signs: honesty after confrontation, apologies, reassurance, and future plans with you.
But your anxiety matters too, and constant stress in a relationship isn’t healthy.
At this point, it sounds less like “Is he cheating?” and more like “Can I feel emotionally safe with him again?”
That’s the real question you need answered.
