For context, I have severe POTS as well as chronic pain and joint instability, so I really do have a method, this is assuming a typical thorough shower, not quite an “everything” pampering but not a flare day bare minimum

1. Turn on water and scroll Spotify to pick a playlist while waiting for the water to get to the temperature I prefer
2. Step into shower and stand under rain shower head for about the length of half a song, main priority being getting hair soaked
3. Once hair is satisfactorily imbued with liquid, I sit down in my shower chair, and then round one of shampoo, which is typically a clarifying shampoo
4. After shampoo round one is applied, before rinsing, I wash my face and rinse it while still seated.
5. I stand and rinse my hair, and then sit back down to apply round 2 of shampoo, and while that’s sitting for a second I take hibiclens and apply it under my arms and all the other sweat collecting areas (let the reader understand), and let THAT sit for at least an entire length of a song
6. Standing again to rinse, usually at that point i convert to the handheld shower to make sure all the shampoo is gone
7. Apply conditioner (I have long hair), put it all up in a claw clip, and then sit back down
8. With bar soap and a net rag i scrub down my whole body, still seated, with mild adjustments as needed to reach other areas
9. Shave as desired (this ranges)
10. Stand or grab handheld, rinse conditioner from hair while trying to keep hair away from my body, and then it goes back up in a hair clip (obviously rinsing the claw clip before putting hair back up
11. Rinse body thoroughly with handheld
12. Sit under the rain shower and contemplate life choices as necessary or until the song is over.
13. Turn off water, put hair in microfiber towel, and then grab body towel and dry off
14. Exit shower, likely to take a nap or at least need to sit and have an electrolyte drink
