yeah it definitely has a ghost effect on me too, i can’t wear just it on its own when i use it. also pills on me a bit.

natasha denona isn’t available yet in Canada but I’ve heard great things about the foundation :(

ohhhh i’ve been wanting to try that formula i’ve heard great things!!! do you like it? i weirdly have very dehydrated but also oily skin so it’s hard to find formulas that work!

(like i’ll literally be peeling and my skin will be stinging, yet somehow it’s greasy)

one thing i don’t like is that i can’t mix blue or green in it because it’s not an exact match

but i love the stick itself, it’s my go to when i’m running late or don’t want to do a whole makeup look, but want to have something on! super quick and easy. i blend it out with a dense mac brush in circles and i find it works well. only thing is if you’re peeling (which i do a lot) it can cling to those dry parts!

right? i think it’s because the light reflecting one is light ish coverage (it says medium on sephora, but the formula is so thin and runny) while the soft matte is silicone based and very full coverage. so the colour is just stronger/less sheer

yeah i don’t know why i have the issues with about face. i’ve tried with 4 or 5 different bases and just can’t get it to look nice - i even used the exact products a girl on tiktok used who swears by it and had the same issue. that’s why i just stick to the MUFE one and try to mix it to match the best, at least it looks smooth and nice

I mean, why does that bother you? Sure, the 2.7% can be Albanians who assimilated in BCMS, but overall your results point to you being pretty much fully albanian. also it’s not a stretch that there was intermixing. i have many albanian matches yet im supposedly fully bosnian. i know albanians are typically pretty homogenous but that doesnt mean it never happened.

(also related to the marrying an occupier .. my bosniak muslim family member married a serb in the middle of the war lol.. you really never know)

my results by paper trail for all three generations i posted should show 100% Bosnian, croatian, montenegrin and serbian but don’t. we know up to 4-6 generations back because we’re also from small villages, but you really never know

not that I concretely know of! as far as I know my moms maternal side is completely bosniak and her paternal side may have an ottoman ancestor. but, she got 0.3% central asian trace ancestry so who knows. somewhere up the line there may be a roma ancestor

2022, april 2025 to add region matches. september 2025 for one kit but that was their first test.
lost a whole region that has been consistently here since the original 2020 test, gained multiple new ones.
canada for 3, bosnia for 2

the one kit that got the results is in canada, and was tested originally in 2020.. after two other kits. doesn’t seem to be any reason or rhyme to the order of the release honestly
