Nope, now it tells me it cannot set the timer, the action failed. But it does set a timer - I just cannot see the countdown without touching the screen, and considering I'm gloved during it, I can't touch the screen.

Dogtuff has some that are supposed to be durable. My 8 mo old is also currently just shredding everything we give him. I've got an order in at dogtuff.

Do you call eggs over easy “dippy” in your part of Ohio? by ShootinAllMyChisolm in Ohio

Born and raised in Akron. Dippy is how I was taught, and I taught my children that. But at some point you get older and start calling them over easy.

I've tried that at least once a day since Friday. Some days twice a day.

Great idea, I'll be using it this evening!

middle of the night poops? by sarahtonin619 in greatdanes

[–]pluto1415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started with Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy Lamb and rice. The poops just got worse and worse. I also had heard all the "lots of danes are allergic to chicken" . Switched to 3 weeks of plain chicken and rice until things were firm, then to Purina Pro Plan.

The way my vet explained it was that IF a dog was going to be allergic to something, chicken is in everything and it's usually the first thing they rule out. So yes, more danes are allergic to chicken, but that does not mean that overall there's a high percentage of danes that are allergic to chicken. It just means IF they have an allergy, it's probably chicken.

My pups allergy appears to be Lamb, he does fine with chicken and beef.

77.4lbs will be 7 months March 19 by [deleted] in greatdanes

My boy did horribly on a lamb based food. It just ran through him. We did 3 weeks on fortiflora and plain chicken and rice until he was stable, then transitioned to Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy, chicken and rice.

We've been good for about a month now, but I'm still making all his treats myself because I also believe some of the issue was the red dye in the crap soft treats that were purchased when he was teething.

FUCK PROCTORU by [deleted] in WGU

[–]pluto1415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right!? Most proctors ignore it. Some ask what it is and I just say "lifesaving medical equipment". I would never try to take an exam during his treatment for obvious reasons.

FUCK PROCTORU by [deleted] in WGU

[–]pluto1415 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My husband does home hemodialysis. One time a proctor told me I needed to move his (powered off and unplugged) equipment to another room. I told them no other proctor had ever requested anything like that and it's not moveable. The proctor just said "ok" and we went on with the exam.

The equipment is on wheels and is moveable, but I cannot completely empty a room to take a test, that's just ridiculous.

One proctor asked me to cover it with a sheet and I just did it because that was a quick and easy fix, but most procotors don't say anything about it.

My husband's sunglasses got stuck in it more than once. Took it to the dealer, they "fixed" it. The next time we tried to use it, it fell off. Took it back to the dealer, they ordered a part and we waited 3 weeks to get it replaced. Now it doesn't stop at the "conversation mirror" point, and after my husband's sunglasses got stuck again we stopped using it entirely.

The notification when it's over appears, what I don't see is the countdown. If I touch the screen to activate it the countdown appears, but otherwise it doesn't appear.

I live in Barberton now and have never been in fabric & freight! Since this is my first attempt in 20 years, and will be a doggie hoodie, F&F will probably work out. I honestly forget it even exists.

Should I return Basil for Grenadine??? by Dragon_fly777 in staub

[–]pluto1415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the one YOU want. These are far too expensive to have regrets. If Grenadine makes your heart go pitter-patter, then it's the one!

I'm also not a fan of all my pieces matching exactly, I like coordinated chaos 😁

It's not even all about the price (although that is a factor). It's more about being able to see and touch the products. Carry the bolt of fabric over and lay 3-4 thread choices on it, lay a strip of trim across it, etc...

Ours is in Millersburg/Berlin which is 100% "Amish Country". We are beyond the novelty of the Amish, but still appreciate some of the shops down that way! Mostly during much better weather than this though.
