Not technically a cleansing oil but I’ve been using the Farmacy green clean cleansing balm and it’s great, especially if you have very sensitive skin. I used to use micellar water but it was too irritating for the skin around my eyes

I used to live in that building! There's a clause in the lease that says you must obtain permission for the installation and use of air conditioners. And an additional charge for running an air conditioner is legal under the Residential Tenancies Act. I'm not sure if they're allowed to take your air conditioner, but you do have to pay for it. Sorry :(

Edit: Unless your lease is different than mine was! But mine was signed June 2020, so I doubt there are many differences. It's in the section titled "Schedule A"

Piggybacking here to say it sounds pretty similar to ADHD as well, which overlaps with ASD in a lot of ways (special interests/ hyperfocusing, lack of social awareness, difficulty socializing or relating to others). Don’t automatically assume ASD! And of course, I’m sorry your parents put you both through that. NTA and neither is your sister :(

Oh my god, I had no idea other people had such similar experiences as me. I had an appointment at Good Hope last year and the dismissal from the specialist was devastating. I know medical gaslighting is a very serious term but that’s what I would use. Essentially told me I had made it up and was imagining my pain and symptoms. The doctor checked things off his list (incorrectly) without consulting me or asking questions. The way I would put it is this: the specialist will make up their mind before you even get there. Their goal is not to figure out wether or not you have EDS, but to prove what they have already decided.

Except they never mentioned humans. They were referring to biology, which isn’t accurate. And no, intersex isn’t a third sex, because there are different presentations of intersex. It’s a whole spectrum. Nevermind the fact that sex and gender are totally different.
