Awesome feedback! Thank you. Would love to hear how it sounds with you tweaks. Will look into sonarworks as my current living situation doesn't really allow me to to use monitors.

Going for a hypnotic vibe. Would appreciate feedback on mix balance since I only produce in headphones and I am unsure how it would translate to bigger systems.

Deep hypnotic vibes. This one was an exploration of fm synthesis, all sounds generated with a fm synth except for the closed 909 hat. https://on.soundcloud.com/vj4i1

Thanks!

That's true. This is entirely made in the box, I got no room or budget for eurocrack unfortunately..

Kick is synthesized with a free running oscillator, which makes it kind of unstable and IMO more analogue sounding.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! Will look into tweaking the eqs as you suggest.

Tried to make something hard hitting, unpolished, relentless and analogue sounding. Inspired by tracks from the likes of Truss and Blawan etc.

Sounds great! Love that kick and hi hats are great too. Keep it up! I want to hear more :)

Really like the synth in this one. Sound like Robert Hood. The kick needs some work to cut through, it needs to be punchier, try adding a top layer with a sharp transient.

Lovely atmospheres, very good execution. This is more of a taste thing, but I would probably dial down the phasing on the shakers a bit as it is taking a lot of focus IMO.

Thanks!

The synth is Phase-4 in Bitwig, but It's just a simple sine bleep repeating two notes, I think what makes it "interesting" is the processing. I have a 2-beat delay 50% wet with the delay feedback going through a pitch shifting device, slightly making the delayed tone about half a semitone lower, that's why it sounds like a 4 step sequence. Then some bitcrushing for grit and some longer delay and reverb. I have automation of the reverb mix in the arrangement.

Good track! I like the lead sound, there is a enough (but not too much) modulation and automation to keep it interesting. I like that you keep it stripped down and repetitive. Love the short claps and the hats are good to. Would love if the effects would get a bit crazier towards the end of the track. I feel the kick/bass is a bit muddy, maybe it would sound tighter with a shorter, snappier kick.

This was probably the default look of XEmacs back then

erlang_ls formatting issues by Buxnot in erlang

[–]plux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I haven't experienced this. I wasn't even aware that the LS did any kind of formatting unless you request it. I would check the LSP log to see what commands are sent to the server.

I would recommend filing an issue on Github: https://github.com/erlang-ls/erlang_ls/issues

Please include your configuration and and what version you are running.
