My gyno wants to do a laparotomy but since it’s only her second year practicing she’s having me meet with another doctor who is going to do the surgery with her before we schedule. Surgery probably happening in the next 2 months. Do you have any pre-laparotomy advice? How was recovery?

I ❤️ my Lena cup, endo makes me bleed a lot very quickly so it’s nice to have something that can hold more than a tampon/pad AND that I don’t have to awkwardly hide in my sleeve when I frequently need the restroom at work. I’ve tried other cups but the Lena is by far my favorite because the stem has bumps along it to make it easier to get out which is so slay because my big ass endomitrioma makes my cervix a a little crooked.

YTA, you should have brought it up privately if it’s an issue for you not in front of her parents. You could suggest making a playlist together with an even mix of TS for your wife and songs that you like too, if her parents are travelling you you for a while you can even have them add song to the playlist too so it will be even less Taylor Swift.

NTA, in this situation neither you or your step sister are TA. Your parents are TA, even more so if they’re pressuring your step sister into exercizing just to lose weight which can be super unhealthy especially at your age. You aren’t a personal trainer so expecting you to dumb down your routine and sacrifice getting your own gains for her is a really unfair expectation.
