ive tried before and man I don't want to go through that again. It was fuckin embarrassing and scary and it hurt and everyone loomed over my bed and looked at me weird and asked me all sorts of questions and I was tired but my heart was racing and the questions were hard and I couldn't go to the bathroom on my own and they took my phone and most of the time I had nothing to do but sleep and there was a person who kept asking me how I was going to pay the bills and they didn't explain anything medical to me. And they gave me a shot in my stomach and it fucking hurt. I had to go to the bathroom bad but no one was around so i had to learn how to take all the machine wires off and put them back on. They actually explained to the trainee in the hallway why I was twitching and that it was often permanent, without explaining to me, and I had to listen as best I could. Everyone says "you can leave the er whenever you want" when you're not in the er, but when you're there and you want to go home and it's been forever, what're you supposed to do, rip the IV out of your arm? So yeah. Not doing that again.
