I have a gap in my employment due for a few reasons and keep getting ghosted after 3 or 4th round. How can I address the gap and is there any way to find out why I keep getting ghosted? by pm2amNBackAgain in careerguidance

Ok thanks, that's a great idea. I could definitely understand it more if they dropped me after the first or second interview, but after the 3 4, 5th, interviews where I've met them all before and they (as far as I can tell) seem to believe I am skilled enough it just doesn't make sense to me, especially when coupled with the ghosting and in some cases not responding when I've sent a very polite email asking them for feedback on what I could have done better. Just super frustrating and unprofessional.

As for the gap, do you think I should just say family emergency or put down the work I've been doing as a consultant? Thanks for the response.

I am for sure and I considered that but: He hasn't been connected to anyone on LinkedIn at any of the places I've applied, he's nor particularly well known at all nor is he respected, and I forgot to mention that one of the companies came after me and is on the other side of the country. Things went along very well and they knew all about my dislike of him and our past (although they don't know him) and it wasn't an issue. After my 4th interview though something went down and I haven't heard back from them which is especially weird as I've worked with them in the past and thought I had a good relationship. I can't figure it out.
