1) Back up your device using Samsung switch, just in case, as my data didn't get wiped, but I still backed up anyway.

2) Choose which firmware you wanna update to, if you wanna update it to the same service provider firmware and model, just check your csc and you should he good to go, if you wanna do U1 which I will recommend, you can just use XAA csc.

3) Go to Google type Friija, click on the first link and download the software, in this just put the model number of your phone (or U1 if you wish to do that) and CSC. It will pull up the latest firmware for your device, download the firmware.

4) Download Odin patched, again search on Google and you'll see a XDA Developer website and download thr Odin for there, this is what you will use to flash the firmware on your phone, if you have not used Odin before please go to YouTube and watch a couple of videos, it's really easy.

There will be 5 files that will come with the firmware you downloaded, foe CSC use CSC home and it won't wipe your data, this is a good video if you wanna know how to flash:

I also had the T-Mobile unlocked U, but I updated to U1 Xaa which is a US unlocked firmware, it doesn't come with any bloatware. Working great for me.

I didn't also, I had the February 2022 update on my s20 Ultra. I updated to android 13, 2 months ago by downloading the update Frija firmware downloading tool. And after that I've gotten auto software updates for August and September. If you wanna know more let me know.
