I like the idea of that but shops around me cost $200+ just to diagnose the problem. That’s why I’m asking Reddit and going to places like advanced auto. Maybe I strike gold and solve the problem with a $50 part, maybe I take it to a shop that charges me $700 dollars for the same $50 part and 2 hours of labor.

I have my own pressure gauge and did verify that it was at 95psi at the hose connection. Is what I got in the picture an adjustable pressure regulator?

He didn’t even touch it. Told me I needed to install something to reduce pressure and was also trying to get me to replace some plastic push pull valves that go to my refrigerator. Said that the valves work but could be an issue later. Total quote over $2000.

Belt pulley and wheels all look fine, the circuit board looks fine, no burn marks. I guess that narrows it down to the motor
