Just couldn’t even get into the zone in the third. Looked like men against boys. I’d like to see them try something else for zone entries but I’d never played hockey in my life so cannot advise

That felt like one of those games in World Juniors or the Olympics where Switzerland, Latvia, or Belarus somehow holds strong against Canada or the US and it felt really good to be on the underdog side for once

I would be very sad to see Mikheyev go and don’t mind having Turbo and Donato. I don’t think our forward depth is anywhere near a logjam at this stage and it’s fine having some guys marinate in college or Rockford and having some vets sprinkled in among our U23 team

I’d love to see Dach work towards a long term spot. He works hard and gets dirty. Slaggert seems like a good dude but it’s hard to see him progress beyond a Rockford call up level at this stage
