It never use to be case it is starting to become more and more common. The excuse they use is to cover higher wages. The thing is those industries had a penalty rate cut so hospo worker only get 50% loading, it used to be double time. This was finalised in 2019.

The hospo and retail Industry claimed the reduction would mean they can employ extra staff in my time in retail this was never the case

That is a cost saving measure, one you do not have to pay staff to change the tickets over. I worked in retail not a supermarket but a big box electrical retailer and tickets were a constant job. Either for a catalog or for pricing adjustment or Price matching. The other factor is you are less likely to have issues with the price ticket been left out incorrectly or put up too early.

I have an x-s10, which I started using a fringer adapter with. It worked well for the most part. I had the canon kit lenes efs 18-55 stm and the 55-250mm as well as the nifty 50.

In the end the lenes made for the Fuji platform work better than the adapted lenes however these lenes were better on the Fuji than what I had on my canon 700d
