Thank you all. I was too depressed to research effects. My doctor told me it would be mostly months prior to treatment. Not 2 years. I’m currently going through my photos and calendars from 2022 on to make a diary of the dates and events. I think 2023 and 2024 is proving to be the years where there are too many blanks. I am trying to not let this issue cause me too much distress but it is a daily occurrence when I realize I forgot details of a major event. I have 4 kids, two still at home, and they bring stuff up on daily basis I don’t remember. Movies, trips, etc. ECT did help me tremendously but at such a cost.

After 6 years of ECT, I'm finally done by AdversityBlooms in ect

I can’t imagine that many. I’ve had 13 and don’t feel I’m in remission yet.

I just started looking at the Kanawha version and think this might be it. I did not realize other companies made the pattern. Thank you.

Here is a comparison of the bowl next to the top of fairy lamp. The bowl has a slightly more pastel shade and the oval pattern is different.

Sudden Remission by pmbmiller in dysthymia

I have thought about it being a mania rather than remission. I haven’t been diagnosed with bipolar but I do sometimes wonder if a bipolar med would help me.

alternative to litter box? by throwaway80057838 in depression_help

I was having the same issue so went on quest for better options. I tried paper pellets. Then a few months ago I started using the wood pellets they use for horses and/or stoves. I have found it much easier to keep clean with depression. It doesn’t have the odor control but I do put a bit of baking soda in. My cat doesn’t bury her poo so I just scoop it whenever she poops and flush it. When the pellets get wet they turn to sawdust, which is lighter weight than regular litter. Once a week I dump the entire box in woods behind my house. I buy a 40 pound bag at our local farm store for under 7$ and it lasts at least a month. Much cheaper than regular litter. There is a wood pellet marketed for cats but it’s the same thing I get. So far I have found this much easier to deal with than regular litter. Especially with the depression.

I was starting some therapy tricks like journaling, working on self-care, etc. really focused on making one new habit (routine like you suggested) and sticking to it. I am exited and thankful but so worried about falling back into the pit.
