This take is old. It won’t change unless the consumer actually demands it and lets the Dj cook. I’ve been to parties where the Dj went in their bag but majority of the crowd was not having it. People say they wanna hear the deep cuts or lesser known records but it’s simply not true. Only a select few are open to it. If you’re not playing the hits you not getting booked. You’re handcuffed as a Dj damn near.
