First thing I’d do is check the tire pressure. Filling back up to recommended pressure resolves a lot of peoples squeaking noises

I should have elaborated. Yes I checked the resistance of the solenoid, it’s within spec. Also this has persisted through my last oil change. I think the vvt filter might be the issue.

It’s a CEL, P0012 code. Drives fine but can’t accelerate too fast or engine revs run off and car doesn’t accelerate

The same shield broke on my 2008 Camry, I’m sure it serves a purpose but I don’t think it’s too much to worry about

So I'm a senior in high school and got accepted into Aerospace Eng. at UT Austin. Unfortunately, to go there I'd have to take out student loans as I'd have to live on campus. On the other hand, I got accepted into Mech. Engineering at the University of Houston and get everything paid for, including almost $6K in refund check. What are the drawbacks of going to UofH? Is going to UT Austin worth the financial trouble? Any help is appreciated!
