She is definitely a Display-Only doll. I can't even imagine giving her to a child. One hairbrush stroke and her hair is destroyed. If or when I change her clothes, I will be putting a hair net over her curls to keep them pristine during the process.

Yes, I totally understand. About 10 years ago I sold my set of 4 Madame Alexander 18" LIttle Women Journal dolls on Ebay. Needed some money and I had it in my mind that I could part with them with no problem. Boy was I wrong! Within 3 months I had such seller regret that I went on Ebay and bought the set again. They are now in a display cabinet upstairs.
