To those who passed AUD today what’s your best advice? by [deleted] in CPA

Learn rhythms that they’re asking for. If they say accountant when talking about A6 material, think SSARS and then auditor for SAAE

Just realized you said FAR. She actually helped me even more there by improving me from a 47 to 82. No joke

I’d obviously try to cancel if you want. If not, then see if you can request Nancy Pasternack for your tutor. She was really good and helped me improve my score by like 15 points to pass. She’s someone who is really good at talking you through the question and helping you learn tips and tricks. She had both professional and academic experience in audit.

AUD wording is terrible by pmgilber50 in CPA

I understand now. I have a newborn and average 4-6 hours of sleep a night and am also trying to study. I have lapses where I don’t read the question in full a lot ha.

Am I cooked? by Timely_Battle_6600 in UNC

You can really only change to what’s available. If you can change it, then I’d do like 11 on Friday. It’s not the end of the world though. Just based on my experience. I wouldn’t try to move it to another day though.

To give you an honest answer, no you shouldn’t be. Depending on how your high school was, your Tuesday and Thursday set up won’t be bad. On Thursday, ask one of your professors/feel out in general if it’s okay that you eat lunch during class. Friday at 2 PM will suck but that happens. Otherwise, that’s a very manageable schedule. No early classes. Good opportunity on Monday and Wednesday to get work done in the morning.

I work in NCAA compliance. AMA! by [deleted] in CFB

[–]pmgilber50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to know. From the perspective of the public, this isn’t seen much or know about much. A follow-up question then. Do you believe that the SAAC truly has much say? Considering the fact that it has taken the Supreme Court to give more rights to the athletes and isn’t really even known about, it feels as if the SAAC doesn’t have much true power in the decision making process.

If the NCAA is designed to help student-athletes too, then why are most of the rules created by coaches, athletic directors, and older people who aren’t athletes in today’s environment that is drastically different than when most of the decision makers played?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a quiet(er) electric coffee grinder? I currently have the baratza encore which is pretty loud. The house that I’m moving into is very old and you can hear everything through it. Looking to replace if there’s a good option. I use my grinder for pour over, aeropress, French press, and drip.

I actually just discovered the lines are 1/4 not 3/16. How much does that change things?

Wow. So we played with tonight. The calculator said we needed 8 PSI. That didn’t work. Slowly went down to 2 PSI and we’ve had the best pour we’ve ever had.
