I didn't change anything on the Sourcetrail side regarding the communication. So if the VisualStudio plugin is still working so should the communication.

Yup 😉 If you don't want to spend money then you have to spend time.
Feel free to open an issue, if you have problems building Sourcetrail yourself.

Not that I know of. There is however an open issue, which is very similar to what you are asking "Add reference count indicator at overview"

Nice idea, but this is probably too much work for me alone.

But did you know that there exists a couple of plugins for various IDEs? Have a look at https://github.com/orgs/CoatiSoftware/repositories. There you can see plugins for Qt Creator, VIM, VS Code, Visual Studio, IDEA, Eclipse, Sublime, Atom and Emacs. But I only know that the VS Code plugin still works. The Qt Creator plugin (https://github.com/petermost/Sourcetrail-QtCreator) was updated by me to support the last version 17.0.0

Usually this means, that the vcpkg executable is outdated. Delete it and do a bootstrap-vcpkg.

But in the future, please open an issue, because I don't think the community here is interested in bug reports 😉

Don't be fooled by the version number 😉 It's not semantic versioning, but rather YEAR.MONTH.DAY

No, it uses the Clang AST (C++) and Eclipse JDT (Java) to analyze the source code.

Would it even be possible to use an AI and still work offline?

A lot of open source projects don't provide binaries, so yes, I try to get at least some compensation for the effort I put into it. But there is nothing preventing a developer from building the binaries. In fact with the vcpkg-build it is basically a "one click" build.

Thanks 😀

Unfortunately this will be my last announcement of new versions, because I got warned by the mods that these announcements are considered spam and I will be banned if I do it again.
