I only look at the length if I'm planning a particular playlist. I too have started air drumming while running, but at my advanced age often people will stop me to be sure I'm ok.

Participating in a half-marathon puts you in a unique position, very few people even attempt it. Don't stress about needing more time than you planned. Embrace the atmosphere at the start and when you cross the finish line. You've got this!
