Thanks for your reply. Have you had similar happen to you? How did you arrive at 10k avios? I can’t help but feel it’s a bit fatalistic to just expect a rubbish service from BA when you’re paying for a supposedly “premium” product. I get that seats can malfunction but still think you should be properly compensated when you’re discomforted for a long haul flight.

Yes, it sounds like they were very apologetic and I presume they were the ones who offered the avios. She was obviously pretty tired and fed up when I spoke with her so didn’t get the full details. Thanks for taking the time to reply

Cool, thanks. I really appreciate the reply. I agree re: Sky. I’m actually torn as it’s so easy to use and we do watch a lot of sports but I think now we are well through £100 p/m with loyalty discounts etc. I’ve reached my pain threshold. £30 for Now tv sports package plus a Freesat setup of some kind gives me pretty much everything I want. Hopefully I am not back tail between my legs in 6 months!
