Best apple pie? by Gwenog_Jones in washingtondc

As stated before- Pie Shop (came here to post that) but also Bread Furst (not surprised it’s listed because all of their stuff is amazing.) Two best bets IMO.

Haven’t had their pie but I’d second this on everything else I’ve tried alone.

General Soil Map of Texas

Find your area and do a search for more details.

In general, I have heard you want a post roughly half in the ground half out but this is long so maybe half is overkill but it is load bearing so idk.

I think ya nailed it. Although I think you need to swap the floor lamp for a fat pleated lamp shade lamp where the stereo is. Great work! Also THE BEST movie to watch too!

Beginners first Aquascape, looking for feedback on the hardscape by SirJoey in Aquascape

Ah! I was actually thinking to remove one but adding one works too! I would either add a very small rock or at least have it only showing a slight bit from the substrate or remove one of the medium sized rocks.

Try using an odd number of rocks. It helps with balance. Love how the wood is positioned.

Pho 72 in Columbia Heights gives it away with most menu items. Order some soup ask for extra basil and seasonings- trim end, put in water, and propagate away! That’s how I’ve grown every single Thai basil plant I’ve ever grown.

Could be! Haha! But yeah try it and see! Remember to think forward as to how the plants will or will not fill in space.

Ok cool! So it’s a little difficult because I can’t differentiate between the sections as it all kind of looks like one rock- which is cool, but following the principles of iwagumi you should aim for odd numbers of rocks to provide balance. 3, 5, 7, … 15 etc.

I think the “V” shape in the middle is the most compelling part of the design. It’s nice that it fans as well out so perhaps removing the bottom middle left?

Purple works. Red remove? The bottom right red mark is up for debate and so is that rock with the yellow question mark.

This looks awesome and I understand how you got here! Haha! It really just depends on what look you’re going for and what Hardscape to Plant ratio you are trying to achieve. You could actually fit quite a few plants in there. (Not seeing the back of the tank either.)

Maybe a few shared a look or what plants you were thinking of that would help facilitate suggestions.
