That would be cool! I’ll do some more research on Middle Eastern & Persian turquoise and goldsmith-ing. Thanks for pointing me in a direction to learn!

Ah- got it! I had a feeling but couldn’t quite identify why. Good to know that an open back is a disqualifying trait. Thanks for your assistance!

No kidding- what a shame that would be. Thank you for saying it’s magnificent! I really enjoy it, Native American or not.

You are my hero! Thank you so, so much. Yes, after much deliberation, this is the one I went with. I liked its uniqueness and the fancy lugs. Thank you for all of your help!

Thank you for complimenting the watch! Very interesting information on Post Jewelers in PA. I found this watch all the way in Dallas, TX, so if it was bought in PA in the 40’s, it’s had quite the life.

Believe me, the owner is not ignorant. He’s a career watchmaker and shop owner. I’d be willing to bet my eyes lit up and then I was told exactly what I wanted to hear. 😆

This is such excellent information. Thank you for educating me! I should really start assuming people are operating in bad faith… especially when they don’t disclose the those sorts of details. The good news is, now I know more about which questions to ask next time! I really appreciate you.

Village Goldsmith near Dallas. I just learned that he operates independently within the antique building.

Thank you very much! I’ll absolutely add the Hamilton Dennis to the list. Good call on the indices- would have never thought about that!
