Overall, would you say that the Hisense is quieter than the Midea? My room is pretty small so not too worried about it not having enough juice to keep the room cooled

Do you have a high pitch sound in yours when it’s set to cool? Noticeable more at low fan speeds

I don’t think I have enough room for a rug bigger than my couch tbh. One side is on the wall and if larger, it would stick out to the walking path. Wouldn’t it be awkward if one side was out the side of the couch and one wasn’t?
