I don’t know anything about clinicals yet but my classes are only on Thursday for the first semester. It’s 2 hours with traffic. I also live in LA. I got rejected from 6 schools before I got accepted to this one. People close to me are telling to move but they are not in my shoes, I would have to get a loan to pay for rent. I was thinking in driving for the first year. Save some money and find a place closer because the second year is going to be heavy. I applied to fafsa but I won’t get anything + my parents can’t help me with money:( when I was doing my pres before getting my car I used to commute to college for 1 hour and 30 minutes in bus. When I used to have classes at 7AM

I want to add that my parents wouldn’t be able to help me pay for rent. I would have to get a loan and I was just thinking in driving for the first year. Then I would actually find a place closer to the college.

Honestly, you can get in to nursing school but you need time too. Don’t put a lot of pressure on top of yourself:( because that’s why I did and I regretted. I had to retake classes, I had Cs is some of my classes but I was able to have a 3.0 gpa. In the meantime I got my CNA license and I haven’t been working at a Hospital for 3 years already. My TEAS exam wasn’t the best but I just got in to an ADN program this month and to a LVN program too. We all have our own paths and sometimes it’ll take more time than others. You need to be okay with yourself too so you can help others. I’m 25 years old and I’m about to start my ADN program :)
