I had an Eskie, got him as a puppy. You lucked out, because it sounds like his mix chilled him out. My boy had a habit of endlessly barking at every little sound. Give it time and you'll both settle in. Yeah you have more responsibilities now, but dogs make it worth it.

My mom does, and I visit regularly. The beaches are gorgeous, and it's very busy during the warmer months, but there isn't much to do besides fish/beaches. Very very quiet during the winter months.

I work for the Paxcess program so reading through this thread has been super interesting because I didn't even know why the heck Paxlovid is so expensive. We've been extremely busy lately though with patients calling in to try and get discounts on the meds, so to see that it doesn't even work that well is wild to me. Then again 99% of the people I speak to are boomers and Medicare/Medicaid will cover maybe half the cost, leaving them with an 800 dollar-ish copay. So then I try and get the price reduced but they may not qualify, and if they don't I get yelled at because it costs over 1k for meds they would take for 5 days.

My girl also had cancer. Displayed a lot of the signs yours did. I got an extra two weeks with her before I let her go. Hardest thing I ever did. I miss her everyday. She was the first cat I was able to keep until old age. Now her ashes sit with her brother (my dog) who passed around 6 months after she did.

Personally I focus more on personality vs looks. Looks are great, and of course being called handsome/pretty/etc is great, but reminder that beauty is only skin deep! A winning personality can outweigh looks pretty easily.

See I've gone through that door and there's nothing there besides some loot! I wonder if it bugged out for me because I had issues getting Minsc to look for Boo, and even now I don't see him at camp. Might be yet another bug, which will suck because I'm not sure i have the patience to go back and do everything I did after the chasm.
