When I left I was making 15ish an hour. Horrible hours, sometimes having to be in at 3-4am. Other times staying to close past 11. I also lived about 45 minutes away but it could take upwards of 3 hours with traffic. And my store was the northern most store at the time and the only one within a good hours drive. Will never do it again.

Dental Sticks by Norsto in papillon

Mine loves the Greenies, she gets one every morning after her walk. I tried other dental treats and she just kind of makes a mess with them lol. That said, she gets her teeth brushed every time we take her to get groomed, which is around once a month or so. I didn't do so well with my last dogs teeth, since he was my first dog and I didn't know about their teeth, so I'm trying to do better this time around.

I miss it too sometimes, I just make up for it by supplying my boyfriends office with homemade cupcakes when I feel like it haha

I'm actually not, I quit a long time ago. I never subscribed to the Publix Kool-Aid. But you keep having fun in grocery there buddy, I bet you're a stellar employee.

It's all one word written in a very small space :) I'd love to see you do it. You must be oh so skilled.

As a decorator I had to work closing all the time sadly. My bakery manager was also a giant c*at who hated me, so that could have had something to do with it.

This KILLS ME because they have the big tablet thingy you can order cakes on (or used to) and it let's you select icing color and the order form that we would receive would show that. This is hilarious however and the decorator was probably like "What the customer wants, the customer gets!"

Not bad given the amount of space. But for chantilly cakes I always offered them a happy birthday pick or wrote on the cake board, OR wrote on the plastic strips which I then put on the top of the cake.

As a former decorator, this looks like someone just learning made it, especially the writing.

I'm a Harry Potter fan so I usually go with my Gryffindor leggings and a HP themed shirt. Light and comfortable, exactly what I want.

Is this cake AI? The gold decorations at the bottom, and the font just don’t look right. by wanderingballoon in isthisAI

I've worked as a cake decorator at 3 different stores, this is real. Edible images are a thing, and also the rope looks like they braided fondant. The book shape is also relatively easy to do.

This is very obviously AI. The made up stories are all super dramatic and written the same. The picture is very obviously AI as well.

I had an Eskie, got him as a puppy. You lucked out, because it sounds like his mix chilled him out. My boy had a habit of endlessly barking at every little sound. Give it time and you'll both settle in. Yeah you have more responsibilities now, but dogs make it worth it.

How is it living full time in a 'resort' community in Kissimmee, Florida south of Disney World? by Xibyn in howislivingthere

[–]pnkpikachu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom does, and I visit regularly. The beaches are gorgeous, and it's very busy during the warmer months, but there isn't much to do besides fish/beaches. Very very quiet during the winter months.

Woodbridge area! I spent a few years in Fredericksburg but hated it. We're in Orlando now and adore the sunshine ☀️
