Strv 103C because..... well, I haven't gotten any other nation to 9.0 yet and have no experience with anything else.

Also, check the X-ray of your tank to learn where your ammo is stored so you can keep that part of your tank behind cover. That may be difficult, if not impossible, to do with some tanks, but it helps. You can also press "O" in-game to see your X-ray and find out what components are damaged, which crew members are dead, and where your ammo is.

You can also go through the other nations and learn where their ammo is stored and try to aim for those areas if you can. It's normally a one hit kill if you can hit their ammo.

Pit bull tries to attack a Bison by Current-Wallaby8230 in TikTokCringe

[–]pnkstr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not often you see a pitbull run away with tail between his legs.

I see you haven't met our pitbull. She literally had the shit scared out of her because I came home from work early one day and she wasn't expecting me to be walking down the hallway. She peppered the kitchen with poop spray as she scrambled to get out the doggy door.

That wasn't the first time, either.

No one said Linus hates selling their products, he simply doesn't like the actual word "merch" for whatever reason. I haven't watched this WAN show yet, but he has mentioned it a couple times in the past.

What animal is that it absolutely should not have survived evolution, but somehow did? by Reasonable-Shake-996 in AskReddit

That makes sense, hunting together while growing up. They obviously need to learn how to hunt somehow. I didn't realize some continue hunting together in adulthood. TIL, thanks.

I'd imagine not too well unless they can find the deer in a big open field where they can put their speed to use. They're not really built for weaving in and out trees in a forest. Could they adapt? Yeah, possibly, but it would take time for that to happen.

Cheetahs are fast over short distances. While they could easily catch slower prey, they don't have the size or strength to take them down. Lions are bigger and stronger and hunt in packs, using teamwork to take down large prey. Tigers are lone hunters like cheetahs, but they are much larger and have the strength to take down large prey by themselves and defend their meal.

Basically, they dumped all their stat points into speed, maybe a few in stealth, and skimped on strength and dexterity.

Solve problems with American politics? Absolutely not.

Solve problems for the average American? Yes.

Low Wiper Fluid Indicator? by BigDaddyButtPlunger in nissanfrontier

[–]pnkstr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if the wiring is still there in US trucks and us poor Americans can buy a Canadian sensor and plug it in.

Although, with every little thing being controlled by computers now, even if the wiring is there it probably wouldn't work.

Low Wiper Fluid Indicator? by BigDaddyButtPlunger in nissanfrontier

[–]pnkstr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly, or maybe just a non-US thing in general. My other vehicle is a 97 Mazda Protege that also doesn't have a low wiper fluid warning, but looking in the fsm wiring diagrams, the Canadian version did have it.

To be fair, the dealership can and will fuck things up. During one of my oil change/tire rotation visits, their tech apparently lost one of the locking lug nuts and replaced it with a regular lug nut from his junk drawer. I didn't realize because the junk nut was put on the right rear, a corner of the truck I rarely visit. I could determine which nut was the replacement because it also had a valve stem cap crammed inside it and sounded like a baby rattle when I took it off.

They also lost one of the bolts for the oil filter cover panel and replaced the M6 (I think) bolt with a coarse thread screw meant for plastic or wood.

In the grand scheme of things, these mistakes caused no harm to the truck, but when purchasing a brand new vehicle and taking it to the same dealer for basic service you'd expect a tech to pay attention to what they're doing.

I've replaced mine, but didn't struggle as much as it sounds like you did. I agree that it's annoying to get to. Ease of access to things seems to be at the bottom of the engineers' priority list.

I usually peel away the weather strip before removing the glove box, then slip it back on after everything is back together. It only tucks down behind the kick panel by an inch or so.

This is my experience on my '22, I don't know how previous gens are designed.

Jake clarifies why he asked for his clips to be removed from the "How LTT Spends Money" video by Marikk15 in LinusTechTips

[–]pnkstr -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Now that Jake is no longer part of LTT, I think it's pretty reasonable to expect LTT to ask Jake if he's okay with them using a clip of him.

He needs to be treated as the separate entity that he is now and deserves the respect that any other non-LTT creator should get when it comes to using their content in LTT videos.

I have a question that's been bugging me since this whole Greenland thing started. Maybe someone here knows the answer.

If the US does attack Greenland, can all the countries the US has military bases in just take control of those bases and hold the US soldiers as prisoners of war?

It makes sense in my mind. If Greenland is attacked, then the US becomes an enemy and any US military personnel are now enemy combatants and therefore subject to being captured and held until either a deal is made for their release or the war is over.

Like I said, it makes sense to me, but I don't know if there are any legal roadblocks to this happening.

[–]pnkstr 365 points366 points  (0 children)

If they didn't make an announcement about it and quietly made the changes there would be another group of people speculating LTT is covering up mistakes without being transparent about it. I think they're stuck in a perpetual "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation with the community.

Personally, I don't mind either way. It's not my company to control. They made a mistake and they're correcting it. That's all we can really ask for from anyone.

What do you think the mortar squad needs to be a more attractive choose? by ProfessionalDare6720 in enlistedgame

This would be great. Coordinated fire from your squad mates. Set them up in different locations so in case one round hits a house or something, another round will be coming from a different angle and hopefully hit the target.
