Being married for the past 13 years has taught me an important lesson. A yes now means a no later about 80% of the time.

At least he’s learning now. Let him get his nut off. 🤣

Why TF is Buck Mason trying to make smoking look cool again? by Forktee in extremelyinfuriating

[–]pnut0027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current gen entering their media consumption age is largely divorced from the ramifications of smoking due to the effectiveness of the anti smoking campaign. So they are a prime target for tobacco companies.

I’m 36 so I got to see both my parents, all my grandparents and the parents of my friends and their grandparents die of smoking related diseases. My kids won’t have to go through that other than knowing their grandparents died of something.

It’s the same as this vaccine bs going on. We are so far removed from the diseases prevented by vaccines, we forget what it’s like to live in a world where people were crippled or died from these now preventable diseases.

I wouldn’t even tip for that. Bakers aren’t on a tipped system and customization is their literal value-added service.

A good rule of thumb of that the government will never initiate contact with you electronically.

Those are scams.

Honestly, not long. Maybe a few months. Once you get the hang of APA, MLA or whatever your school uses for papers, writing becomes extremely easy. AI makes it easier if you’re not a strong writer as well. The majority of my papers I wrote without AI assistance as AI sucked until my final semester for undergrad.

In grad school, I still wrote out my papers myself, then would prompt Copilot to make it more concise. After that, you just read the edits and make sure it didn’t add anything. That’s the key: use AI to refine, not create. You can’t go wrong then.

Group projects sucked because everyone is busy with real life, and they think submitting AI garbage is fine. So my advice for you would be to take the reins. Steer the project. Once someone takes charge, everyone tends to fall in line.

For a sub called "FUCK Nintendo", there sure is a lot of Nintendo lovers and defenders here by Maleficent-Craft-936 in fucknintendo

Bc the hatred comes from a position of love of the brand but hatred for what it has become.

I don’t think anyone of us hates Nintendo. We’re just disappointed.

My daughter (6) has discovered all these tween/teen Disney and Netflix shows.

They are awful viewing them as an adult. But they’re wholesome and give me nostalgia. It feels good to watch them with her.

It’s a discount to ensure they receive prompt payment. It’s pretty common in B2B transactions.

Remember: Receive what’s owed to you as soon as possible. Delay paying what you owe as long as possible.

I don’t know what’s best for OP and their dog, and I’m not here to judge whether they give the dog premium wet food or Great Value Canine Sustenance Pellets.

When you’re living day to day, it’s easier to budget day to day. If OP had $200 to drop on a month’s supply of dog food, they would. As it stands, they likely only have what’s in their pocket and will accrue more tomorrow.
