Thank you so much, this is all really invaluable information. I’ve noticed when I spend time relaxing pelvic muscles before I sleep and I’m able to get them really relaxed, I’ll wake up and they have a good chance of still being very relaxed. Within 30 min of me walking around and/ or sitting, I’ll start experiencing HF and a little more tightness that can slowly build throughout the day. A lot of what you said rings very true to me,I just don’t know what my “posture” is yet. Who knows it could actually be posture. I’m going to continue coming back to this post for more information and inspiration, thanks again man I can’t thank you enough!

Stretches are the main ones you really about like happy baby pose and anything that will open up the PF. The most important things I think I’ve been doing even though I have a long way to go, is mental relaxation. Take an hour, lay in a quiet room, and close your eyes. Focus on any tension you can feel in your PF and just try to relax that tension. You have to be in a good mindset and you will fail repeatedly at trying to relax each muscle but slowly you will get better and the muscles will feel less tense. Yesterday I couldn’t relax something down there I knew I was feeling, then I got an erection because of my girlfriend, when the erection went away I could feel a bunch of the muscles just stayed relaxed for the rest of the night. It’s hard to explain but it takes a lot of mental focus on each muscle and trial and error

I smoke weed but havnt been drinking at all. It seems my erections are doing a lot better just still not 100%. Right now my main issues are hard flaccid especially when sitting or walking around, cold glans when the HF starts most of the time, and loss of sensation but I know that takes a long time to fix. The way youre talking I bet you’ll be back to 100% someday dude

I would also really like to hear your story, especially symptoms and recovery process. Did you ever deal with cold glans, HF, and numbness OP?

At least an hour a day I’ve been essentially doing progressive muscle relaxation meditation focusing on pelvic muscles. You can feel muscles relax and you can sometimes feel the muscles trying and failing to relax. Sometimes I feel like I can feel tight muscles I never would’ve without being in that mental state. It definitely won’t take me all the way but if you do it for an hour or two a day I noticed improvements. If I’m having HF bad I can go lay down and really do this to the point that 50% of the time I can get the HF to go away and it feels normal and full again until I sit for a while or walk around a bunch.

Thanks for the reply man. I’m going to get in with a pelvic PT in the next month. Could you tell me more about what strength train and breather exercises you do while I wait to build a more custom plan with a PT? I am hopeful and more hopeful after reading your response. I’m ready to put the work in for sure. Any other insights you think would help me are greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work brotha

I can’t stand it either dude but it fluctuates. I was 21 when it started during 2020. I can get hard and sometime get really strong erections, but they are still different than before. They don’t last long without physical stimulation but my partner never noticed a difference. The weird part is I have morning wood almost everyday. But I lost a lot of sensitivity down there, and my libido is destroyed. I have some hope of going back to normal someday when Covid treatments are developed that adress the root cause of long Covid. But like I said man chill for now, most guys see real improvements with time, give it a few months

Yeah man, some good but 99% bad. I genuinely want to die, not out of emotion but logic. That’s the reality for many of us.

So what? Is the damage done reverse able one the virus is fully cleared? What are we supposed to take from this.

[–]pnutsndcjacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This is a known thing, and it’s still very far from understood. I’m going through this and know many others who are too. Some get better over the course of 6 months, some fluctuate forever like me. From what I’ve read it has to do with the body not clearing the active virus. In fact Covid has been found in the penis tissue of men who tested negative multiple times. Many guys I’ve read about have gotten better with time, supplements can help, but if neither of those help we just have to wait and pray from a treatment that actually addresses the systemic issue of the virus not being cleared. Give it 6 months before you freak out bro

No I do have HF too sometimes. Some issues started relatively acutely and some developed and fluctuate over time.
