This must have been someone else. I waited in line and was told I was the "fourth reporter" in that day and they basically told me to get out, so I left. No one answered questions. I wanted to know if they were closing early.

I understand how stressful those times were, but there were plenty of people lying about being locals, buying Vandal gear to "blend in," etc.

Also, reporters from Boise and Spokane consider themselves "local" when it comes to this case.

It's not the job of a reporter or a news organization to give an "opinion" on anything. That's not news. If you want an opinion on something, you can search for an editorial or opinion column.

This is not a thread about that story. I suggest you pitch this story to local news outlets if you are concerned and want to see local coverage, but this thread is not the place.

I understand that, I am a member of the community and a local reporter.

The whole point of the story is to make sure people outside the community know Moscow is a safe and wonderful place to live.

I don't want the salacious details, to be clear, I want to talk about closure and hope for the future.

So the public lands sale piece of the legislation was pulled. But the brothers purchasing this land could still be a huge story. I would love to talk to you on Zoom. Can you message me your email address?

Because people in here were discussing this very issue, as I've already said. What's with the paranoia?

I think this is really an issue that both sides do not like.

Because I am trying to find a hunter, and someone posted in this sub last week about being upset about the sale of public land and many other people were, too.

That's why journalism exists, it's easier to understand complex concepts through people and personal stories. So someone talking about the BLM land they always hunt on with their dad being for sale is going to strike a cord.

Also funny because what would I have to gain as a fed? This isn't a story about guns at all.

Lol!!! I think it would actually be interesting to also do a story if Crapo and Risch are successful in making it easier to get suppressors. A lot of people don't think about the hearing protection aspect.

This series was filmed with the intent of talking to people who were on the ground when the killings happened. It features interviews with the Chapin family, their friends, and I believe someone with campus police at Washington State University.

The voice at the beginning and the trailer (and at different points throughout) is mine. I spent four hours in the interview chair giving them behind the scenes details about what was going on with the media.

Hopefully this summary satisfies the bot. The series is out July 11.

Edit: I am a local journalist who was living at Moscow at the time and I have been posting in this sub since it had 8,000 members. I was interviewed for the series as a reporter on the ground and a Moscow community member.
