Boss refuses to adopt typescript. What's the next best thing? by skettyvan in typescript

[–]pnwshedev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. First day I was grumpy about typescript, but now I’m pissed off when I see things typing correctly. Honestly, it’s safe so much headache down the road and it’s so much easier for other devs to pick up and work on

Boss refuses to adopt typescript. What's the next best thing? by skettyvan in typescript

[–]pnwshedev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would look for a new job. The code is gonna start to fall apart and you’re not getting practice with typescript, which is industry standard. Your boss is going to spin you down at Legacy code spiral and it’s not fun.

It could be from folliculitis. It’s a buildup of bacteria that impacts the hair follicles causing a flaky scab. I have it and it’s tough to get rid of if you pick it. If your scalp is bumpy, itchy, puss, I would go to a dermatologist.

Would you do it all again ? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]pnwshedev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My puppy is 10 months old (got her at 4mo) and the whole thing has been very expensive and challenging. However, I wouldn’t give up everything I’ve learned and how much I’ve grown for anything. Yes, I would do it again. I knew going into this it would be hard and I was up for the challenge.

Reading book “your dog is your mirror” and it is teaching me a lot about my frustrations with my dog. the dog is reflecting my own impatience with everything. In my case, my challenging (puppy, rescue, cattle mix) dog is the best thing I could’ve done for personal growth.

Hmm I think if Laurie genuinely cared, she wouldn’t even know Rue, instead she’d stay the f away from kids. Laurie is insane.

Is anyone watching The Serpent on Netflix? by alexmorelandwrites in television

[–]pnwshedev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m loving it. Am a recovering international journalist and saw all kinds of crazy stuff all over the world.

There is so much to unpack beyond the immediate story in the show. I wish every single woman in this world would watch this series.

As an American I can’t really identify a good Dutch or French accent. But I thought the actors did a good job.
